Your success largely depends on people's mindset change

The real game-changer in strategic finance programs implementation is a mindset change. All stakeholders must understand clearly why this change is happening.


Your finance staff should ideally say: YES, it resonates with me, I can contribute and see my current & future role in a new setup.


A new ERP/CPM system, cloud, AI, shared services, near-or-off shoring, target operating model change, standardization, new conso & reporting, more business insights… All is probably right, but if you forget to buy in your staff wisely, you lose maybe half of the potential.


✔️ Do not underestimate people’s factor whenever you create a transformation business case and plan for all deployment costs, licence purchases & MDs of external consultants. Budget also temporary backfills, knowledge transfer, change management, finance staff career move or milestone driven incentives.


❌ The worst-case scenario of finance transformation result is a new expensive system with small added value and exhausted finance staff close to a burn-out syndrome. As a bonus, your internal knowledge disappeared with costly consultants.
